2015 be forgotten?
2015 will soon be gone and as we sing this familiar song,
"Should auld acquaintance be forgot,
And never brought to mind?
Should auld acquaintance be forgot,
And auld lang syne."
The memory of 2015, and all that happened will soon fade away as time passes.
We greet a new year with hopes of change and new beginnings.
As January 2016 works its way into our schedules, those new goals, and aspirations will also soon be forgotten if we do not guard them fiercely!
When beginning new routines, it is a fact that something becomes a habit if done more than 21 days, and it literally takes 66 days for something to be at its peak habit.
So, my encouragement to you is when you start something new on Jan 1, 2016, continue it until March 6th and see what happens in your life!
Make it your goal to take one day at a time and over the 66 days, see the compounding effect!
Here is to 2016, a year of second chances! Third chances and on and on! :-)
